Born into a family of wine merchants over two generations, Kaveer Shahani setup Groove Temple Entertainment in 1996 as an extension to his varied family businesses. Groove Temple Entertainment has verticals ranging from consulting for the hospitality sector, event management, artist management, destination management, technical consulting & music programming.
Over the years, Groove Temple Entertainment has acquired and retained top notch international clientele from the private equity, private banking, investment banking & hospitality sectors as well as high net worth individuals. Having conceptualized & managed high profile events in unique destinations such as Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Cairo, Cyprus, Dubai, Istanbul, Johannesburg, London, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Shanghai, Thailand, etc.
Born a true polymath – he is a maverick, aesthete, oenophile, audiophile, lateral thinker and a true blue music aficionado. Besides being an AV & lighting design professional, he has been the Technical Director for the Mumbai Festival in the past.
Working with iconic heritage venues has been a penchant with stylized events held at the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur, the Museum in Cairo, the Sphinx in Cairo and the Natural History Museum in London.
Groove Temple’s artist & repertoire division sources performers from all over the world and also manages internationally renowned performers such as Prem Joshua & Band and looks after the interests of Talvin Singh in India, besides having setup the entertainment events program for Hard Rock Café across India.
Groove Temple’s AV consulting team has designed and engineered the audio visual installations for several renowned hospitality brands Vie Lounge & Deck, Celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s Suravie, Aurus, Sancho’s, Shiro, as well as India's first Hard Rock Café, to name a few.
